About Judi's Treasure Boxes

After sculpting a hundred or more little I.D. cases, which have been very popular, I decided it would be fun to create some pieces that would be more useful to more people. Treasure boxes were the answer. So here they are.

I use boxes that I have found at thrift shops, garage sales, antique stores and attics. The vintage cigar box originally held .05 cent Cuban cigars from the 1960's and can now serve a more artful purpose.

All are sculpted with Aves Apoxy air dry clay, and are embedded with gems, and a variety of things such as leaf skeletons, sea glass, buttons, and shells. They are then hand painted with many layers of acrylic washes, then sealed to give long life to your piece of art.

When you purchase one of my Majick Treasure boxes, you are getting a one of a kind original art piece that is not only pleasing to the eye but very useful too! Oh ... and of course, they are all made with enormous amounts of love.

3 yellow sapphires, 2 citrines, fools gold, seed and baroque pearls, Swarovsky crystals, Gold & SilverMicro beads. The inside of the box is lined with a velveteen pad.

Square. Black and red hand painted box. 2 1/2" high, 5 1/2" square, overall height with glass and quartz 4 3/4". Rutilated quartz, Kyanite, Rose quartz, Sea glass, fools gold, pearls, Swarovsky crystals. Red interior walls w/purple velvet bottom lining.

Round. 2 1/2" diameter, 1 1/4" deep inside, 2 3/8" overall height. Peridot, yellow sapphire, micro beads, vintage glass button, Swarovsky crystals, seed pearls.

Round. 2 3/8" diameter, 1 3/4" overall height. Amethyst, 3 pink tourmalines, 3 rubies, opal, microbeads, pearls, Swarovsky crystals.

Rectangular. Varnished multi colored wood 2 3/8" height, 2 1/4" deep, 3 3/4" wide. Ruby, peridots, blue topaz, Swarovsky crystals, microbeads, Baroque seed pearls, pewter buttons, black velvet bottom lining.

Rectangular. 1 3/4" height, 4" deep, 6 15/16 wide. Smoky topaz, citrine, Baroque seed pearls, Swarovsky crstals, gold and silver microbeads, brass buttons. Black velvet lined interior.
