Finn and Harley
Meet Finn and his dirt snail, Harley. They just slithered into the Rowdy Toad for a quick glass before heading off to the Annual Snail Tail Races where Finn hopes to once again win First Place at the Pondiannapolis One Centimeter Time Trials. Of course, if someone offered them a shot at the Pro's outside of Twigshire, I'm sure they'd consider foregoing the race. Talk to their agent, Poom. Dimensions: Base is 4" round, "stone" texture covered. Finn is 3 1/2" high, 2 1/2 wide at his feet. Harley is 1 1/2" high at his head, 3" long. SOLD

Simon Ponkin
Simon Ponkin has been hunting his dream for many, many years. While most folks said it was only a legend, based on fluff and air, Simon knew better. And now he has found it, in the far reaches of the Shire, The Stone Lily (Lilius Gemundus). Only one exists. Pluck out the stone from the flower's center and another will take it's place, offering the means for eternal riches. Simon knew...that in the most simple of creations, one finds the greatest wealth. Dimensions: Simon Ponkin is 4 1/4" high and 4 3/4" wide – at his widest point. The plate is a thin piece of shale, irregularly shaped. The gemstone in the center of the flower is a 1.5 carat rhodolite garnet. SOLD

Snog
Snog is the oldest of the Shire Ancients. He has been around forever, but still has a lot of "spring" in him! He counts the Ents as his descendants, far forward in time, of course, smiling at their exploits. Time means nothing to him, and he expects to be around at least a few more millennia. Even though he looks a bit wrinkled here and there, he has a lot of bloom in his cheeks, and likes nothing more than to have a visitor relax beneath his boughs. If you need a spot to unwind, you might consider Snog in your backyard. Dimensions: Snog is clay over wire and copper mesh, exactly 4" tall on his antique Chinese base which is 3" in diameter. SOLD

Snog's Proud New Owner
Nancy B, whose habitat is filled with carefully cultured living things, welcomed Snog into her home recently. She'd fallen in love with the old creature instantly. "He's beautiful," she told Poom recently. Snog, of course, is delighted in being surrounded by so many new, leafy and flowering friends. Nancy plans several locations in her home, so that she can have Snog in sight wherever she is. |

Dame Dumphries and Poffle
You know, it's quite difficult to learn how to dance the Maypole. And if you don't want to end up in a tangled heap trying to escape from yards and yards of ribbon, then you need lessons. Dame Dumphries has come out of retirement to instruct Poffle in the delicate intracies of dancing the Maypole, to be ready for the Spring festivals and to become the new Dance instructor for Twigshire. The Dame's knickers don't fit the way they used to and her skirt won't quite meet at the back. But once the dancing dervish gets hold of her, well, the good Dame just gets taken over. If your community needs some lessons before May, please see Poom. The Dame is booked through the end of this month in the Township of Blinkingbend but I believe she is available after that. Dimensions: Dame Dumphries is 5", Poffle is 4.25", Maypole is 7.75". All on a wooden oval base which is 6.5" x 8.5". SOLD

Flora Bunda
Meet Flora Bunda, the Shire's stellar example of the genus "Majickus Bloomerundous". One of Flora's special talents involves changing the color and brightness of her petals depending upon the time of day and available light. This has made her a favorite companion upon many a table regardless of season. She is always changing, always smiling and always shedding a dab of brightness no matter where or when she is. She requires no watering or fertilizing whatsoever. She will just continue to be her blooming self, deriving her sustenance from her own secret place. For those of you out there who seem good at killing a rubber tree plant, perhaps Flora is the perfect bit of garden for you. Dimensions: Flora stands 5 1/4" tall on her antique Chinese ginger jar stand. SOLD

Grams & Nuffin'
"What have you been into now?!" "Nuffin." And there you have it. Grams is going to have to mix up another batch of Flufferberry batter and clean up the mess. If anyone out there would like to give Grams a bit of a break and do some babysitting, she would be most obliged. Nuffin's in need of something to occupy his fleeting young attention span and penchant for getting into things. And Grams certainly needs a cup of tea! Dimensions: Grams is 6.25" tall. Nuffin' is 4.5" tall. They're standing on a 5 x 7" pine base. The rug, of course, like both the Weegurines™, is also sculpted clay. SOLD

Ameelia Bratsky
Well, here's someone who surely knows how to herald in Summer! Ameelia Bratsky is having a gay old time at the Rowdy Toad. Although closing time was several hours ago, she has thrown rules to the wind and is in the throes of a grand song...even though she and the night crickets are the only ones awake to appreciate it. (Good job, too, as she couldn't carry a tune in a bucket!) Any party goers out there who would love a pal for some weekend revelry, give Poom a buzz and he'll pull out Ameelia's appointment book and pencil you in." (Maybe someone out there can exert some good influence on the gal!) Dimensions: Ameelia is 5.5" tall and is staggering around on a soft pine base of 5' x 7'. The "planks" on the base are also created entirely of clay and painted, as is Ameelia. SOLD
