Cora Brimble
You really have to meet Cora Brimble. Some Wee Folk get sneeze attacks, some get hiccups. Cora has laughing fits. Just about anything and everything sets her off into hilarity. If you want an appreciative audience or someone to help you find the fun in any given day, Cora is the gal for you. Um... she's partial to juffle-berry tarts, by the way. Dimensions: If she were standing, she'd be 4 1/2" high. As she is, her head is 2 1/2" above the base. The base is a pine oval, 5"x7" and is sprayed with a sandstone finish. SOLD

Tally
I'd like to introduce Tally, another Grundling, from their Upflop Farm. Upflop Farm is located two bridges down and one corn row over from the Pondering Pond, where Grundlings like to gather and make happiness. Tally is just taking a quick break from the milking. A happy lass, satisfied with her lot, Tally always has a good word for everyone, even the old cow, Mussky, who keeps slapping Tally with her tail. Tally has been known to drink a few of the Shire's bigger men under the table. But all in good fun. If anyone would like to hire Tally she would consent to leave Upflop...as long as you have a dental program. Dimensions: 4" high. She's seated with her feet off the ground on a "stone" wall base of 2"x4", just 2 1/4 high. SOLD

Tally's Proud New Owner
Pat H., who moved in next door to the Rowdy Toad, dropped in today and invited Tally to come live with her. She was delighted with Tally's love of life and infectious grin, much like her own. And Pat is going to ask Dan to build a special shelf, just for Tally to sit on and enjoy her new surroundings! |

Sir Ernest B. Crotchett
Sir Ernest B. Crotchett, Esq. has his nose out of joint a bit this morning. Something woke him up before noon. And 'Umble isn't around anymore to give him his first cuppa. Sir Ernest is the landlord for the Rowdy Toad. It's been in his family for ages. He doesn't really approve of the Shireites, but they're honest and pay on time. So he mutters quietly under his breath. Perhaps you need a new landlord in your home? Dimensions: Sir Ernest is 6 1/4" tall on an irregular Chinese marble base approximately 4x4 3/4". SOLD

Twyla
Twyla is a bit different from the other Shire folks. She has a different look. And there's a different energy to her. More faerie, if you like. This is a lady who's happy about the coming of Spring. And the Summer Solstice. She loves a good jig, has a good sense of humor, and could disappear in a flash. But her dancing talents are countless, and she'd love to take the floor with you to the strains of a good old wee waltz. Dimensions: Twyla is 4 1/4" on a circular base of painted and varnished pine. SOLD

Tookie
Look who I ran into along the banks of the Pondering Pond! Tookie the Grundling! Meeting up with a Grundling is a very good thing. They bring grundles of joy, grundles of love and grundles of giggles. Enough to last for a long, long time. Notice the Grundle Bug in Tookie's left hand. That's another happy bringer. Anyone out there need some Grundles? Dimensions: Tookie sits on his favorite mushroom, just a 3" tall Weegurine™. His base is circular pine with an applied spray "stone" finish. SOLD

Lily
Lily has just flown in for a visit with her cousin, Poom (3rd cousin on her mother's side). She's had a lovely afternoon at the Shire's Flea Market, but left a bit early when she found out that all the best fleas had already been sold. Perhaps there's better shopping to be had in another town. Yours? Dimensions: Lily is just a scoon over 5" tall on a base of imported Chinese marble approximately 4" by 5.75". (Note, 'scoon' is Twigtalk for 'a very tiny bit'.) SOLD
